With a lovely 18-hole course, our park is a golfer’s paradise. But we have loads of other sports and leisure facilities at Far Grange. In fact, we’ve designed this Yorkshire park with sport and relaxation in mind. You might want to spend an afternoon pulling in chubb on our fishing lake or you can work on your serve on our tennis court. And when you need a break, just escape to our spa for some downtime.
At Far Grange, we have so many ways you can stay active. We’re particularly proud of our lovely 18-hole golf course. But we also have two fishing lakes stocked with coarse fish. And we offer lots of unusual – and challenging – activities. You can unleash your inner Andy Murray on our tennis court or head over to our crown-green bowling. Indoors we have a snooker bar and bowling alley. And, of course, no one comes to Far Grange without visiting our lovely spa. You can swim, soak and steam for hours on end. Just don’t forget to treat yourself to one of our soothing treatments.
We’re always working on our pristine 18-hole golf course at Far Grange.. You can browse our shop, have a shower – or enjoy a post-golf drink in the bar. When it’s sunny, take a beer out on to the patio and gaze out at the golf course. The views of the green are lovely – and it’s fun to spot other players as they tee off. You don’t even have to play golf to enjoy our clubhouse – lots of non-golfers also come to enjoy the view.
After all this activity, you deserve a bit of… nothing. So leave the rest of the family on the golf course, wrap yourself in a fluffy bathrobe – and head to our spa. This luxury complex at Far Grange is a great place to take time out and pamper yourself. We have a fitness suite, indoor pool, outdoor spa, sauna, steam room and a Jacuzzi hot tub. So you can do as much – or as little – as you choose. You can also treat yourself to professional massages, deep cleanse therapies and beauty treatments. You won’t want to leave.
Many of our owners are keen on fishing. We have two lakes, both stuffed with coarse fish – so you’re bound to catch something. We have a small, one-acre lake, which is free for all our owners. Landscaped into the surroundings of the park, it’s a particularly pretty spot. Our larger lake on the Lakes Lodge development is six and a half acres. It has excellent bankside fishing – and is a great place to pull in carp, chubb and bream. You’ll also find roach, perch and tench – and you may even spot eel, ghost carp and rudd.
